This weeks Move Nourish Believe Challenges from Lorna Jane Active were all geared towards nourishment.  As it turns out, this was a difficult week for me.  When I prep for a competition I like things to be very rigid:  food in this case is planned out to a T.  Working on each days challenge was definitely a struggle, as they did not coincide with my meal plan, forcing me to be flexible.  I love to cook, and I of course like to try new things, just not necessarily during prep!  I can honestly say that I am glad this week is over and am looking forward to this weeks challenge of Believe.  But here is a little recap of my week of Nourishment!

 

Notes for this coming week:  Stick to basic foods and a meal plan.  Too much variety this week had me all thrown off!  Also, set aside down time for myself…Come Saturday night, I am burnt.  Sunday’s are supposed to be about skiing and meal prep and I just don’t have enough time but I am not going to let that be an excuse!  I will find the time….probably by avoiding facebook and the internet in general.
